The Streatham Park Surgery has two sites, one in Streatham and the other about a mile away in Tooting. Our Practice area is within half a kilometre of each site. Our Practice team includes six GPs, a practice nurse, health care assistant, practice manager, five receptionists and a scanning clerk. Our primary care team includes a clinical psychologist, community dietician and a team of district nurses for Wandsworth and Lambeth. Health visiting services can be accessed through our local community clinics in Wandsworth and Lambeth. We offer a full range of general medical services and run designated clinics for pregnant women, babies, care of the elderly and the severely mentally ill. Our diabetics and patients with coronary heart disease are seen opportunistically and through our recall system. Our philosophy is to treat all patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence. There is suitable access for disabled patients, direction notices in Braille and a loop induction system for the hard of hearing with hearing aids. Our responsible PCT is Wandsworth, although we do have a sizeable number of patients in Lambeth.
