Practice Profile:

The practice has been approved as a training practice (Trainer Dr. Bhushan Ghoorbin) since June 2000.

Situated within 5 minutes walk of Carshalton Beeches mainline railway station and in proximity of both St. Helier and Sutton Hospitals, it has served a suburban community for over 40 years.

The training is varied and includes exposure to different types of surgeries within the local community. Protected teaching time is enforced twice weekly for tutorials in the surgery. There is an excellent and expanding library "in house" and an internet link. The practice has recently acquired the Vamp VISION patient management system and training is given for its use.

The atmosphere is friendly and there is a genuine sense of being part of a team. The Registrar is treated as a trainee and is well protected and guided at all times. The out of hours commitment is via the regional co-op and also sessions at the surgery. Encouragement and appropriate, useful study leave is given towards the MRCGP examination and obtaining certificates.
